Polycarp Otieno better known by his stage name Fancy Fingers has announced a new venue and date for his upcoming concert dubbed the Fancy Experience.
The event will now take place on May 3 at the Nairobi Street Kitchen. This will be his first solo concert since Sauti Sol went on hiatus.
Announcing the news on his social media platform, Otieno said the heavy rains were one of the main reasons for the date and venue change.
New EABL brand Manyatta Cider will also sponsor the event which includes performers such as Karun, Bensoul, Njerae and more.
The concert follows the release of his album Love Language which features several female artists including Karun, Lisa Oduor-Noah, Femi One, Xenia Manasseh and Njerae; South Africa’s Simmy and Rapsy, Frya and Tamy; Moyo from Zimbabwe, Uganda’s Azawi, Nigeria’s Dunnie and Somalian-Ethiopian singer Bananas Overdose.
Speaking about the album at the time of its release he said, “Love is something we all relate to because we have all been through it in some way or other and I hope that this album will uplift everyone who listens to it.”
All the songs on the album were written, composed, mixed and mastered by Otieno with the expert co-writing skills of his collaborators.
