Darajani Gogo FC eye Promotion as club fetes outstanding players

Darajani Gogo Fc are committed to their pursuit for promotion  to the Kenyan Premier league next season following its recent impressive run in NSL.

Gogo sit 4th in NSL standings with 33 points, just eight points behind leaders Nairobi United.

Gogo FC have recorded 10 wins in 19  matches, and have only lost 6 .

Meanwhile the club awarded its five top performers thus far in recognition for their rols in helping the team get impressive results.

Brian Wepo was recognized for being the best defender for the team in the first half of the season, in addition to scoring one goal and assisting seven others.

Lenny Ochieng was named the best midfielder of the team this season, Paul Odhiambo received the outstanding player award, Veron Ombima was the top scorer with 12 goals so far while captain Hubeib Ali was named the most valuable player of the team.

Having finished 8th two seasons ago and 6th last season, Darajani Gogo’s main objective is to finish in the top three should they miss out on promotion to the Premier League next season, but have vowed to play in Kenya’s top flight in the 2026-2027 season.

The team also received more than six million shillings in sponsorship from their sponsors among them the Kenya Red Cross and Freedom Airline.

Darajani Gogo’s next assignment is against Muhoroni Youth on the 1st of March.
