CS Kuria promises equity in public position allocation

The Government has given its commitment to ensure fair allocation of all existing internship positions by the public service commission.

Cabinet Secretary for Public Service, Performance and Delivery Management Moses Kuria appearing before the Senate Wednesday said the Ministry is working with the commission to develop a formula that is measurable, and transparent.

The Senators questioned what they say was inequity in allocation of positions in the public service, seeking answers from the CS Moses Kuria on the selection criteria.

CS Kuria also says the new strategy of re-engineering the National Youth Service will be a game changer in creating job opportunities for the youth.

Separately, Cabinet Secretary for Health Susan Nakhumicha appeared before the Senate Health Committee where she said they were working on ensuring disability friendly hospitals especially in the maternity section.
