Milimani Law Courts Principal Magistrate Gilbert Shikwe has issued a warrant of arrest against 10 suspects accused of assaulting journalists at a city bar.
The suspects are part of 11 others who appeared in court on Wednesday.
The suspects pleaded not guilty to the seven charges before them including three counts of assault, causing actual bodily harm, three counts of assault in execution of duty, and selling shisha.
The court released the bouncers on a cash bail of Ksh30,000, while the shisha seller was released on Ksh10,000 cash bail.
The case has been scheduled for pre-trial on 24th January,2024.
The bouncers alongside other employees attacked journalists from several media houses and NACADA officials on 5th January during a shisha raid.
