Mandera County Government in collaboration with Turkish embassy has distributed food in Mandera County.

The food is set to benefit 1000 households affected by the ongoing drought.

During the distribution to the affected families Mohamed Fateh from Turkish embassy said they will continue the exercise in all northern eastern counties including Garissa and Wajir.

Mandera CEC for Special Programmes Shamsha Noor thanked the Embassy and appealed for more help from all non-state actors even the County continues to tackle drought effects.
