Six people sustained serious injuries after a bus they were travelling in lost control and rolled at Mamboleo junction in Kisumu City.
Thirty others sustained minor injuries and were rushed to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital (JOOTRH) for treatment.

Company was heading from Kakamega to Nairobi before the accident occurred at
10am Sunday.
Janet Otieno, one of the passengers of the ill-fated bus, said the driver was speeding before the vehicle overturned.
"The driver was speeding. We tried to talk to him to slow down but he refused to listen,” she said.
The locals rushed to the scene to help those injured and rescue others from the bus before the police arrived.
They appealed to the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) to erect bumps along the stretch between Coptic Church and mamboleo on the busy Kisumu-Kakamega road to enhance safety.
The area which is a black spot records the highest number of accidents in the lake side city.
