China Media Group (CMG) Africa held a seminar on Thursday at the University of Johannesburg, in Johannesburg, South Africa, under the theme, “Empowering China-Africa Golden Era with New Quality Productive Forces,”.
During the dialogue meeting, representatives from the South African government, industry, mainstream media, as well as University of Johannesburg students, discussed how Africa can draw inspiration from China’s modernization success.
Professor David Monyae, Head of the School for Africa-China Relations at the University of Johannesburg, was among those in attendance.
He reaffirmed that by 2050, Africa will have the world’s largest and youngest population and that it is important for the youth to have access to technology at their disposal from partner countries like China.
