If you missed the first session during the Two Rivers Premiere of the Kenyan drama Thief held on April 13, you have another chance to ask the cast questions this Saturday, on April 27.

The scheduled screenings and Q&A session will take place at The Mall basement in Westlands from 7 PM to 9 PM.

The thriller, directed by Andrew Odera and Kiwo Maole is set in Nairobi and follows the compelling journey of Oliver (Lucarelli Onyango) – a reformed ex-thief faced with the impossible task of saving his critically ill son.

When an unexpected opportunity arises to secure his son’s future, via a wealthy benefactor – Edward (Neville Misati), through a daring heist of Donna’s (Helen Keli) fortune, Oliver finds himself torn between desperation and morality.

The film has been screening online since its premiere on April 13 on the VOD app called MyMoviesAfrica.

Speaking about its availability on streaming, the film’s directors said at the time, “We are thrilled to bring Thief to audiences worldwide.”

“It’s a story that resonates with the universal themes of love, sacrifice and the pursuit of redemption.

“We believe that audiences will relate to these characters in one way or another, finding themselves drawn into their journey and discovering moments of inspiration in their resilience,” Directors Andrew Odera and Kiwo Maole continued.

Only 80 spots are currently available for the event.
