The Confederation African Football has postponed the Women Cup of Nations to next year, while the Men Cup of Nations will be held between January and February 2026.
CAF has been forced to move the two tournaments due to congestion in the international calendar.
The 15th edition of the Women Africa Cup of Nations, which was initially set for June and July this year in Morocco, has been pushed forward to next year due to the Olympic Games, which start next month in Paris, France.
On the other hand, the 35th African Cup Nations to be held in Morocco between June and July next year has been postponed until January and February 2026.
The AFCON finals were switched to avoid clashing with the inaugural 32-team FIFA Club World Cup in the USA.
