Anthony Otieno Ombok has retained his seat as the President of the Boxing Federation of Kenya following the national elections held at Kasarani today where 12 officials who were vying for the executive committee positions went unopposed.
Lydia Kinyua is the new first Vice President after serving as the assistant treasurer while Chrispine Onyango is the second Vice President.
David Munuhe Karitu has retained his seat as the Secretary general and he will be assisted by Joseph Ochieng Otieno, who was formely a member of BFK.
Benjamin Moses Oyombi is still the treasurer and he will be assisted by former member Gladys Musavi. John Waweru Wangai retained his seat as the Competition secretary where he will be assisted by Joselyn Mare .
The new members are legendary boxer Ibrahim Wachira Bilali who starred in the 1984 Olympic games where he won bronze and Dominic Opiyo.
The Boxing Federation of Kenya elections were supervised by Sports registrar Rose Wasike and Ministry of Sports officials Abel Manyara and James Akama.
