Boost for Kenya Rugby as Crown paints unveils Ksh.2.6M sponsorship

 Preparations for the national rugby sevens team Shujaa for the forthcoming leg of World Rugby Sevens Series in Hong Kong got a boost after Crown Paints committed Ksh.2.6Million in sponsorship.

The sponsorship includes KES 1.6 million in cash and KES 1 million in-kind support to the Kenya Rugby Union (KRU), for pitch marking, facility refurbishments, and a school painting initiative

As part of the deal, Crown Paints’ branding will appear on Shujaa’s shorts during three major tournaments—Hong Kong (March 28-30), Singapore (April 5-6), and Los Angeles (May 3-4).

Additionally, the company will contribute to grassroots rugby development through its partnership with KRU.

After four rounds Shujaa is ranked 9th on the HSBC World Rugby sevens series with 15 points.In Hong Kong scheduled March 28th-30th ,Shujaa is pooled in group C  alongside Great Britain,Spain and France.
