Taylor Swift was joined by Beyonce at the premiere of her Eras Tour concert film in Los Angeles as its release was pushed forward by a day in the US and Canada due to “unprecedented demand”.
Swift, 33, has broken cinema records with advance ticket sales for the film, which was recorded during the US leg of her Eras Tour.
The set list features songs spanning her 17-year career and will be released in the UK on Friday.
Swift said on Instagram the film “vividly captures my favourite adventure I’ve ever been a part of”.
She told fans at the premiere they were the “main characters” in the film and said they made the tour “magical”.
In a later Instagram post, she also paid tribute to fellow star Beyonce, 42, with a video of the pair posing for cameras eating popcorn in a cinema.
She wrote: “I’m so glad I’ll never know what my life would’ve been like without Beyonce’s influence.
“The way she’s taught me and every artist out here to break rules and defy industry norms. Her generosity of spirit. Her resilience and versatility.
“She’s been a guiding light throughout my career and the fact that she showed up tonight was like an actual fairytale.”
Beyonce’s concert film filmed during her Renaissance tour will be premiering in North American cinemas on 1 December.
Comedian Adam Sandler, Law & Order actor Mariska Hargitay and Barbie star Simu Liu also attended Swift’s premiere.
