Kenya High Commissioner to Uganda Joash Maangi yesterday , flagged off Kenyans in Uganda who will be attending this year’s WRC Safari Rally Kenya set to rev off tomorrow.
The magical Kenya branded bus will ferry Safari rally enthusiasts who will follow the Safari rally action in Naivasha between tomorrow and this Sunday.
Speaking outside the Kenya High commission office in Kampala yesterday Maangi emphasized on the great role played by the WRC safari rally in regional integration.
“The Vasha Extravaganza has become the most important tourist attraction for motor enthusiasts in the region. We need to support it in the spirit of promoting tourism as a catalyst for regional integration.”
Kenyans in Uganda will join other Kenyans as well as rally die-hards from Uganda who throng Naivasha, each year to get a glimpse of the Safari rally action.
This year’s WRC Safari Rally Kenya will act as both a WRC leg and an African Rally Championship event as well as a Kenya National Rally Championship series event.
