Mandera County Referral Hospital unveils modern dental unit

In a significant milestone for healthcare in Mandera County, the Mandera County Referral Hospital has officially launched a modern dental unit.

This advancement highlights the hospital’s commitment to providing comprehensive, high-quality healthcare to the community.

The new dental unit represents a deeper dedication to enhancing patient care.

Equipped with the latest dental technology, including intraoral X-rays and other advanced accessories, the unit is designed in ensuring that every individual has access to the best possible dental services.

The newly launched unit will have a team of nine skilled dental professionals, including a consultant restorative dentist.

The unit also will provide dental extractions, fillings, root canal treatments, scaling and polishing, partial and complete dentures, mandibular maxillary fixation, and splinting, among others.

Mandera Governor Mohamed Adan Khalif, during the launch of the new dental unit, announced that the county will continue to invest more revenue into health facilities to expand the range of services available at Mandera County Referral Hospital.
