Grammy award-winning artist Kirk Franklin and award-winning gospel music group Maverick City are scheduled to perform in Nairobi on August 17.

The event is part of Kirk Franklin’s world tour dubbed Kingdom World Tour which has made its stops in Europe and Asia with more stops scheduled throughout Africa.

Speaking in a recent interview, Kirk Franklin said, “I am excited about amplifying the message of the good news of Jesus Christ.

“The thing that I want to say to the people coming is that we [receive] a lot of joy, pleasure, and gratitude when people take time out of their busy schedule to come see us and interact with us. And we won’t let them down.”
