All is set for the burial of the fallen Chief of the Defence Forces General Francis Ogolla, which will take place at his rural home in Ng’iya, Alego Usonga Constituency in Siaya County.

The government officials and leaders across the political divide Saturday visited the home of Mzee Joel Oketch to condole with his family following the passing on of his fifth-born son General Francis Omondi Ogolla just a day before his interment.

This was however preceded by a brief service to mark 100 years of age for Mzee Joel Oketch.

Politics will be kept off the ceremony with only a few speakers from the family, military leadership and select government officials.
