Safari Rally: WRC drivers seek inspiration from Kenya’s Wild

When you think of the best wildlife Safari destinations,Kenya’s premier tourist attraction Maasai Mara comes to mind naturally.
Top World Rally Championship,WRC  drivers had an adventure to remember at the world famous game reserve ahead of their participation in this week’s  WRC Safari Rally in Naivasha.

The Hyundai,Toyota Gazoo and ford puma drivers Thiery Neuville,Elfyn Evans and Gregoire Munster sought to seek inspiration from the less beaten trails of nature  at Maasai Mara.

A bloat  of Hippos cooling off in a stream, and a clan  of hyenas watching as Lions lay in the grassy plains provided exceptional wild experiences to the drivers.

The wanderlust also included a hot air balloon ride probably a metaphor to the  drivers higher  targets at the Safari Rally.

Safari Rally, the third stop on the 13 round WRC calendar is regarded as one of the toughest events and thrusts the country into limelight to a global audience.

A total of 29 drivers including 9rally1 drivers will take part.
