Global superstar Beyonce has announced the release date for the second part of her Renaissance album dubbed Act II is to be released on March 29.

The new project called Cowboy Carter will be a genre departure for Beyonce who has already released two country songs – “Texas Hold ’em: and 16 Carriages”.

She also made history with the two releases by becoming the first black woman to top the country music charts with “Texas Hold ‘em”. The single is still number one, three weeks later.

While sharing the name of Act II, she also shared an image of an empty saddle with a red, white and blue sash draped across with the album name sewn onto it.

Earlier this week, Dolly Parton told Knox News about whispers that Beyoncé collaborated with Parton or at least covered one of the country icon’s most beloved songs on the upcoming Act II.

“Well, I think she has! I think she’s recorded “Jolene” and I think it’s probably gonna be on her country album, which I’m very excited about that,” she said.
