Chinese President Xi Jinping held talks with Sierra Leonean President Julius Maada Bio, who is on a state visit to China, in Beijing on Wednesday.
Xi said China and Sierra Leone enjoy a long-standing friendship. The two countries have always supported each other on issues concerning each other’s core interests and major concerns and have carried out fruitful cooperation in economic and social development. China-Sierra Leone relations can be regarded as a model of China-Africa solidarity and cooperation.
