Businesses, factories to be established at Sagana industrial park

Kirinyaga County Government targets to work together with the US Government on how to establish businesses and factories in the industrial park at Sagana.
This is after Kirinyaga county assembly held an initial meeting with the US Embassy Political Councilor and Internal Affairs Chief Johns with other US embassy members to discuss on how they have been working with the county executive, the partnership between the national government and county government and to take stock on the impact of devolution in Kirinyaga county.
Speaking to the press, Muteti Murimi the county assembly speaker said that they were able to brief Johns on what they were able to achieve for the last One and half  years in terms of registration and took them through on the bills were passed and were enacted by the Governor.
They have also taken them through  the legistrative agenda, their over site role , the strategic plan for the assembly .
Muteti also said that they will have follow up meeting to ensure that they can strategically partner to ensure that they help  Members come up with registration role through capacity building, come up  with resource centre where member could  get materials to improve on their oversite and representative duties.
The deputy speaker Mr Janiro Jamumo also said that Kirinyaga being one of the counties that have implemented on the special economic zone,  the US government would sent a delegation on the month of may and they would visit so as come up with businesses in the industrial park in Sagana.
