BrighterMonday was named best job search and recruitment mobile app at the 3rd Annual Mobile App Award bagging their 5th award of the year.
The public voting period concluded on November 5, 2023.
Brighter Monday received the award for its innovative approach to job search and recruitment, as well as stringent judging criteria that included UI design,animations, content innovation, onboarding experience, and overall user happiness.
Brighter Monday’s Head of Marketing for East Africa, Erick Wilson Wafula, expressedhis gratitude for the honor, saying,

The award was the fifth for BrighterMonday this year.
The company, which began as a job posting platform, expanded its mandate last year to include more HR-related services, such as executive recruitment, outsourcing, and impact project collaborations, the latter with important development partners such as GIZ and USAID.
Denis Githinji, BrighterMonday’s Head of Operations, CX, and Telesales, further stated that the Kenyan app industry is prospering, with a growing number of innovative apps tackling all parts of society, ranging from financial impact to people.
The Mobile App Awards celebrated Kenyan creators’ inventiveness and talent.
