Nairobi City County’s Innovation and Digital Economy Sector and Public Service Sub-Sector Staff led by the Chief Officers Tiras Njoroge (SMART  City) & Janet Opiata (Public Service Management)  conducted staff data collection exercise with Health, Wellness and Nutrition employees at the Pumwani Maternity hospital.

Said Ms Opiata, “This exercise will also be conducted at the Countys’ big four Health facilities (Pumwani, MLK, Mbagathi, and Mutuini) until Friday 3rd November 2023. On the 7th & 8th November, the exercise will be conducted at City Hall for any NCCG staff who missed out during Phase 1.”

“This exercise is in readiness for NCCG staff card issuance, an activity that the County Government will finalize this month. The exercise involves taking current photos and fingerprints,” added Ms Lilian Maina, NCCG Director, Human Resources,

She said the NCCG Staff ID Committee with members drawn from Innovation and Digital Innovation (IDE), Public Service Management (PSM) & Inclusivity, have worked on the extremely critical exercise of Biometric registration which will ensure Nairobians are able to identify county staff, especially the ones that operate in the field.
